Studio Calendar
The large studio is column-free 40’x50’
Studio has ductless AC/heat.
Shared bathroom and use of kitchenette available.
What you should know about the space:
The studio is above a doggie day care and barks can be heard during monday-friday business hours. It is not loud but is audible. If you are doing deep, quiet work, then consider nights and weekends.
The floor is a bit sloped and while are on wood beams, it is not sprung. You may wear non-marking, non-street soft soled shoes.
The building and studios have an old-school loft feel, rather than a shiny new dance studio feel.
Kestrels is looking to rent to people who will respect the space and the other renters. We are a community minded, low-key studio. We do not have a cleaning staff and ask that you keep the studios clean and as you found them.
We offer the ability to rent for longer term periods so dance artists do not have to be studio nomads as they make their work. Artists can have the opportunity to leave some belongings in the space (unlocked) with approval and space availability.

1-8 people 12$/hour
8-13 people $15/hour

Kestrels is available for teaching, workshops, and other creative rental opportunities, higher rates apply. Please email kestrels.space@gmail.com to inquire.
Cancellation policy:
You must cancel your booking at least one week in advance or you will be charged full price. Rehearsals are not transferrable without permission from staff. No exceptions.
A longer cancellation policy applies to long term booking: one month’s notice for rehearsals booked more than 3 months in advance.
How to Book Space:
Please look at the calendar and email katiestudiobooking@gmail.comwith your requests. Requests to the general kestrels mailbox might not be seen!
Please note that we have a 12 hour per email booking policy, especially for initial requests. Thank you for your understanding. We are a tiny organization and this helps keep admin manageable and Kestrels a committed community of renters. These hours can be spread over multiple days.
First time renters must attend a 15-20 minute intake google meet meeting to review the quirks of the space and the rental agreement. The We are available Wednesday and Thursday mornings at 9:00am. Please sign up here: https://cal.com/kestrels-agvt1r/30min
